Wavering between dream and consciousness, between fantasy and thriller, i c o n is a new opera in the making that reflects society’s deep relationship with images of death and beauty. An opera for soprano, actor and small ensemble.

The objectives of the Lab were to give the creative team the opportunity to put the different disciplines and artistic forms as singing, music, text and film together and unleash their creativity.

They were able to try out different ways of how to address the subject scenically and what would be the best narrative way to tell their story.

At the end of the LAB, a scractch performance took place in the frame of the TalentLab #17 at the Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg.
