The Art of Recital in Madrid
workshop cycle
The Art of Recital workshop was initiated last summer at the Académie du Festival d’Aix. With the support of member institutions of the network, six already existing duos were invited to pursue their musical, poetic and aesthetic explorations under the guidance of world famous baritone Stéphane Degout and pianist Alain Planés. During the season 2018/2019, they will take part in master classes and perform their recital on tour in the network.
As part of this cycle, the duo Nitescence (soprano Marie-Laure Garnier & pianist Célia Oneto Bensaid) are invited to the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía to pursue their training with Stéphane Degout. The workshop will conclude with a recital at the Auditório Sony of the ESMRS on Wednesday 10th October at 7:15 PM.
The workshop cycle will then continue at La Monnaie / De Munt in Brussels from 13th to 15th March 2019 and Snape Maltings in Aldeburgh from 12th to 14th April 2019.
