Theaterakademie August Everding
Operetta appears rarely in the repertoire of opera theatres today. But the tradition and style of Viennese operettas can be an enrichment for young opera singers. The workshop will fulfill this intention with coaching in voice, style and acting as well as theatrical movement and dance interpretation.
At the end of the workshop there will be a presentation in the concert hall of the Prinzregententheater in Munich. (Gartensaal)
This workshop will be tutored by Christoph Wagner Trenkwitz (former Dramaturg of the Vienna Volksoper), Prof. Dr Stefan Frey (Expert for Operetta history), Roland Seiffahrt (former General Music Director of the Musikalische Komödie Leipzig), Rainer Ross (head of Zwingenberg Festival), Prof. Marianne Larsen (director of the musical programme BTA) and Balazs Kovalik (director of the opera performance programme BTA).
