The starting point of this new opera project by Czech composer Ondřej Adámek are his grandfather’s postcards sent during the Second World War from Theresienstadt. The strict censorship did only allow him to write messages like "I am fine. Kind regards, your grandfather ".
The postcards, which are all preserved, are FALSE GOOD NEWS [ex-working title].
The original documents will be the basis of a music theatre piece which will work like an `animated archive´. Things begin to tell their stories and talk about the biographies of their owners.
