enoa communiqué COVID-19

The COVID-19 crisis has affected all countries in Europe, and has massively impacted the cultural sector.

It shows the interdependence of both our countries and institutions whilst highlighting the importance of European networks as essential spaces to share ideas, reflections and good practices. More than ever, we need to use our networks to offer a collective response and support our wide community of artists across Europe.

As enoa – the European Network of Opera Academies, we are committed to doing everything in our power to help you, our artists. We remain digitally available and at your disposal for any questions, information or simply to chat in these strangest of times.

We commit to support artists and freelancers who are especially affected financially by the current crisis and where possible we will endeavor to postpone enoa’s activities and, in case of cancellation, to provide compensation fees.

We stand in solidarity with every person and organisation that is affected by COVID-19 in Europe and elsewhere.

We stand in solidarity with all artists, institutions and professionals of the cultural sector.
