Site specific opera: 3D video mapping

Participants (stage directors, light designers, video artists and set designers) will be divided in three groups and work on brief highlights from Don Giovanni, interacting with singers and with an emotional space created with 3D video mapping.

Prospectika was created by professional artists Sara Caliumi and Roberto Costantino, who developed their knowledge working with the company Le Grandi Immagini, specialized in the field of major events, active since the early 90s and leader in Italy for architectural projections on palaces, concerts, theater, opera. They acquired their experience during the years of transition from analog to digital correlating technical and practical aspects to the artistic aspect, specializing in new technologies of computer graphics. Their aim is to experiment with new forms of contamination of the visual arts, through innovative use of digital mapping, projections, light, and create live performances and interactive installations that become multisensory stories that challenge the viewer’s perceptual habits.
